Biography

Nikos has been working in the Markets for global financial institutions, trading and risk managing complex, intangible and at times downright ludicrous financial products. He alternates between loving to hate and hating to love the financial industry. He abandoned Athens in 2001 and never looked backed, missing Greece’s boom, the Athens Olympics, the 2004 Euro, the 2005 Eurovision contest and the subsequent bust. He calls London home, has dual Greek and British citizenship and currently lives in Singapore, which makes for a long answer when people ask him where he is from. He is happily marriedand spends an inordinate amount of time being 6y old Anna’s ‘silly daddy’. The remaining time he spends at his coffee lab where he gets lost in the science and practice of roasting and brewing coffee, as well as researching classic cars and making plans for garage extensions, in other words going through a middle age crisis.
